2010

Well hello 2010! As I say hello to you I am going to put behind me the loss of a child, loss of a great uncle and the loss and gain of my eyesight, the loss of a job and HELLO to another year that is going to be the beginning of everything good. I have set several goals for myself and I am going to be posting a lot about how that is going so that you can hold me accountable for them.
The first thing I want to share is my reading this morning. As I started my goal to be closer to God I opened my Bible and just said God give me what you want me to read and this is where is fell.....
Isaiah 50;1-2..." Where is your mother's certificate of divorce with which I sent her away? Or to which of my creditors did I sell you? Because of your sins you were sold; because of your transgressions your mother was sent away. When I came, why was there no one? When I called, why was there no one to answer?" Boy did this it home. Why are we no with him unless we need him? Why are we not around when he needs us? I kept reading just like you should but really think about this. He can send us away so why would we not want him and be here for him when he needs us? I thought this was a great way to start my new years reading.
I ask that you keep me accounted for this as I will you if asked. I wanted this year to be a great one and it will as long as I put God first and trust in him.
